Records used to sell more? Tell me more sherlock. They aint never been considered top of the rap game. Migos have a number 1 album and single to they credit and most rappers copied their style for years and even still to this day. When has YYT ever been able to say that? Ill wait
Ying Yang had 4-5 top 10 smash singles and 2 platinum albums. Also U.S.A debuted at #2

Certain posts like this pretty much tell you a person's age, or relative newness to rap. Ying Yang Twins were churning out hit after hit both on their own and due to features for a good 5 year period. All their singles were massive and were felt everywhere without the aid of social media. That's not to slight Migos though, as I regularly listen to them, bought their album and have never bought a Ying Yang Twin album.
On the other hand, no one really cared about them after leaving the club. They were good for hits but they never established themselves as individuals. Most people reading this thread probably don't remember their names, or thought their names were Ying and Yang :russ:
I'm sure they sold more records and had higher charging singles than the Lox, but they never mattered like the Lox did. And any hip hop fan of a certain age knows Kiss, Styles and Sheek.

Should have led off with that, it makes sense now. Get Low as a single dropped in 2003, Whistle While You Twerk, Say I Yi Yi, and by Myself were all very successful singles they had on their own nearly a full year before that. I get the comparison between the two groups, but people should know if you get involved in a discussion, that you need to be well-informed about stuff and not just aimlessly saying things.
Twins had hits going back to 99 or 2000

Nobody ever considered Migos the top of the rap game. They were never the lox, or outkast, or wu-tang

Anyways nobody in this thread agrees with you so theres no point in me replying. You seem like one of those people that will argue forever.
