Ok breh. Albums used to sell more. You still aint saying shyt.
You're the one who brought numbers into your argument "Migos have a number one album and single". What's the difference between that and having a #2 album a #2 single and a couple other top 10 and top 20 singles

On the other hand, no one really cared about them after leaving the club. They were good for hits but they never established themselves as individuals. Most people reading this thread probably don't remember their names, or thought their names were Ying and Yang :russ:
I'm sure they sold more records and had higher charging singles than the Lox, but they never mattered like the Lox did. And any hip hop fan of a certain age knows Kiss, Styles and Sheek.

I don't disagree with any of this, but OP is pretty much trying to negate huge success YYT had while boosting up Migos. Plus, the discussion is Migos & YYT, not Takeoff vs Quavo vs Offset vs D-Roc vs Kaine :lolbron:

ok but who cares about the ying yang twins today? are they making noise?

Didn't know the title of the thread was "Who is currently listening to the Ying Yang Twins", I thought success of both groups was the subject

Nobody ever considered Migos the top of the rap game. They were never the lox, or outkast, or wu-tang

Anyways nobody in this thread agrees with you so theres no point in me replying. You seem like one of those people that will argue forever.
When 90% of rappers copy your style for years how are you not at the top? How are they not the top rap group right now?

Don't get mad cause you makin stupid as points nikka:russ:

Number 1 as in best of whats currently spinning. You trying to bring up gold and platnium plaques when everybody and they mama know rap don't sell anywherr close to where it used to. RIAA had to change the rules just to give nikkas hope.

ain't no da hell about it. nikkas know jada and maybe styles but Sheek is d-roc and kaine status. they've never mattered like that outside of ny.
I don't know what you mean by mattered "like that" - but the Lox clearly mattered far more than Ying Yang in terms of what I was discussing in my post that set this discussion off. As a group or individuals.

Peak Lox years were 2000 and 2001. When We Are the Streets dropped and then the lead up to Kiss' solo when everybody thought he had next and would drop a classic.
Ying Yang just never mattered in that way. :yeshrug:
They were just club music. :yeshrug:

I was in CA at the time breh. This was 2000 and 2001 - the whole East/West divide was pretty much dead by then. The East was getting play out here. I can't speak for the South I guess. Sounds like you were out of the loop. :yeshrug:

Ying Yang's run was longer than Migos current run at the moment...they were hot for like 6 years...of course, they produced nowhere the quality and didn't have the impact/influence on the game as Migos.

You're also a CAC. Make sure you make that clear before you post so people don't waste their time replying to your goof ass opinions.
