Dude had the best 3 year start we've seen since Randy Moss with +1300 Yards in each of his first seasons. 3 successive Pro-Bowl seasons and was arguably the most popular player in the League if not the face.

Fast forward to 3 years later and he hasn't made a Pro-Bowl since and arguably isn't even the best WR on his own team.

It's wild how a player expected to take over from Julio/AB as the best in his position probably isn't even Top 10 in it right now. The likes of Chris Godwin, Michael Thomas, Mike Evans, Diggs, Tyreek etc have since surpassed him.

How did the guy that had next fall off that badly?

Odell was never anywhere near Julio imo

I think people need to realize that Julio has done a LOT while also being injured a lot. Imagine if Julio was never as injury prone lol

I don’t even think Julio has been healthy since he came into the league :mjlol:

He’s always on the injury report for some reason.

If Odell Beckham had Drew Brees as his quarterback, he'd have put up 1700+ yard seasons like clockwork.

It's a miracle he had those seasons with that corpse throwing him the ball in New York.

That's football for you. So many variables outside of ability impact your individual production. Most players are a product of what is around them. Even the best of the best are dependent on whats going on around them. And of course there is health. We have seen plenty of guys have a nice year or a nice couple years and then fall off or completely disappear.

Horrible QBs and he's not a tall WR like Moss so you can't just throw it to his general area.

Eli overthrew the pass in preseason against the Browns they fukked his leg up and then he rushed back and Eli threw a shytty pass and the Chargers finished him...

and then once mcAdoo got fired cuz he was tired of Eli shyt, the new regime didn't like odell and wanted to build around barkley and the coach who got fired couldn't find out how to use odell and get him the ball like McAdoo and Coughlin knew.

Dude first three years had the Giants as one of the best offenses when he didn't play we couldn't score when he played we were dropping 30 with ease and blowing leads in his first two years, and then with the defense in his 3rd year he got us in the playoffs ,

    fukkin ELi

the Giants did the right thing getting rid of him. He's not a team guy.
