The truth, is that people in general had a far higher grade of nutrition to select from. We were much "cleaner" internally, than what we are now.

Women back then didn't need to "douche", and such, because their diets maximized the human body's natural ability to cleanse itself.

Soap - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The coli never amazes me
Where do they find you people at?
:leostare: back then clean water was also a problem...let alone clean hot water enough for a bath.

They also took baths in the SAME bath water back then. So a large family of 10 kids or so ALL used the tub one after another. The tub was filthy and so was the water.

...and that's after the fact that they probably took bathes once a week or so.

Add to the fact that soap was a commodity...they didn't hit Cosco and just get a large family 8 pack ... and they didn't have deodorant :why:

that living room musta smelled like warm skunk puzzy back then :francis:

I said CLEAN water.
I said nothing about having any water.

The water back in the 1700s was not sanitary. People back then could barely drink it...let alone if you tried to drink it today.

drinking water and bathing water are two completely different things.

there is plenty of water that is unsafe to drink and nasty to taste that would be fine to wash with. not all dirty water smells like a sewer.

:heh:

Folks kill me acting like the ancestors of humans were these super healthy, super natural people when they stayed dying left and right from diseases that we can easily handle today thinks to better nutrition and medicine...

Also, there were high rates of women during those times dying from vaginal infections (just like today in poverty stricken places)...

The lot of some of you...

So your argument is that both drinking and bathing water were as high in quality today as it was in the 1700s?

I see third tier colleges failed some of you

Other than the fact that you're completely wrong...I'm still not sure what your point is.

You're an idiot if it wasn't clean back then people would have a lot of health issues back then due to poor water quality
