You can go to a farm and buy apples directly, done it before.
You can grow your own fruits and vegetables
You can order organic, fruits and vegetables directly from farms online.

These options are still present in 21st century society.

I feel like you and @Peter Vecsey are trying to argue a point that I'm not debating. I simply responded to a patently false notion and now its turned into about 10 post of me saying the exact same thing over and over again.

True.. But who does that? What percentage of the current population does that in 2015? Now juxtapose that to 18th century society and I'm willing to wager that most of the population was eating extremely fresh meat, fruit and produce...

Yes the options are available today, but back then it was the only option. Hence, the food they consumed had higher nutritional value by default......

What was a way of life back then is a borderline luxury in 2015

I wont argue with that. That's a salient point. Organic and GMO free foods are not the norm.
Eating off the land is the norm in some places, but not in Western Society 2015.

Although this opens up a completely different discussion on the "health" value of food. Is 2015 flouride laced tap water better than 1970 cholera water? etc etc.

But if we are sticking to the original premise, purely based on nutritional value alone, I do agree that a greater %age of the population would have been living "off the land" in that time period. Assessing the overall nutritional value of their organic food relative to our "organic" food is something well above my pay grade.

Doesn't change the technicality of the argument of availability though :usure:

When the urge hits, you could be in a river of diarrhoea and horse nut and still smash. I once got dome from a bytch in a club toilet while other dude was emptying his guts out. The combination of the overwhelming smell and the shrill sounds of his firing out shyt like a pump shotty would have struck down lesser men but I valiantly held my ground, and found the light at the end of the tunnel.

Never again though :scust:

Native of the NYC, getting fed in the Big D!
Imagine how these smelled after a 5 mile walk on a hot sunny day in the 1700s.
