It’s the Nas fanbase on this site specially, they should rename the booth to temple of Nas cuz that’s really all it is.

I’m a huge Nas fan myself, but Hov and Nas beef being squashed for almost 20 years now …some of them act like takeover and ether just happened yesterday and it’s corny, nikkaz really take it personal, weirdos.

I got Nas over Jay, but Hov is that nikka. To say otherwise is jealous and childish. Period.

You know
jay did it to himself from like 08-14, that euro hov, "let me tell you all the ways i'm rich and why everything you're doing is for broke boys" era + mid projects (for jay standards) didn't help his legacy. everything became hella pretentious with dude down to that tone deaf rollout of tidal sporting the richest, most successful celebrities as entitled to more money.

his music from 96-04 and American Gangster still top 5 tho :win:
That’s the era where Jay was pretending him and Beyoncé was Barrack and Michelle Obama status :scust:

how are nas stans getting the blame when 80% of the jay hate is from southern nikkas who simply hate that era of NY arrogance where only east coast nikkas were seen as lyrical and successful. most the threads include "jay wasn't getting play in the south" :dead:

Ok but how does this make sense when Jay always showed mad love to southern artsist, especially during the time when he was really dominating hiphop :manny:

I think OP is right, it's just nikkas over-correcting for that mans run and accolades. Live long enough to see yourself become a villain pretty much

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
I think it stems from there being a lot of Nas fans on here, and them carrying on the beef in an ironic way.

Edit: also think a lot of people think Jay’s music lacks sincerity
That goes both ways. In fact, you generally see more Nas fans giving it up to Jay than vice versa. But some people on this board act like its only one side and thats false.

I'm a South dude and I love Jay as an artists. A lot of my southern brethren do to.

I think on the coli the hate for jay or Nas or any legend is mostly for shyts and giggles because you know the "otherside" will react.

But I think some of it is because a lot of people don't see Jay as a genuine person for whatever reason. He could cure cancer and some would say he didn't really do it, he's a medical puppet or some shyt.

Also it's been while since we had a Jay project that we loved. A solo one. So most of the convos here are over old music, guest verses, or some social media shyt.

Always found this a funny take since people on here stan rappers so hard that they were crying for years about "artists getting exploited by these cac/jewish record labels".

Then Jay Z pushes Tidal and nikkas is like " ughhh so pretentious, who cares about your streaming checks? :camby: "

Now rappers left and right are selling the ownership of their to discography to jewish cac record labels and these follower ass nikkas are all "Genius move. Get that money black man  Generational wealth aquired"

People are fake as fukk. Not directed at you or anyone in particular but I'll never forget that shyt when the next "The record labels yoked us :mjcry:" cycle starts in a decade

I'm overcharging nikkas for what they did to the cold crush.

There once was a time when it was all about hating on Nas as people outdid themselves with variations on Phgnaurrrauwwwze and suchlike to express their odd distaste for someone that seemed to be on their mind all the time yet they'd deny this.

Now look. You definitely are as good as your last hit as far as the Coli is concerned.

That and some bovine matter has been cryogenically preserved to ensure its immortality.
