There is a loud minority of black coli posters who hate Barack Obama with a passion; deriding him with slurs for having a white mother, and for seemingly not doing enough for them. I don't know what they thought they would get from his presidency. Given the disaster of the George W Bush years, you'd think Barack did well considering the opposition he faced. Yet even now, relatively few people publicly view his administration as a success.
Because those people ignorantly thought that having a black president meant landmark tangibles for them specifically. Not realizing that he was still going to be an incrememental piece, preceded by others before him. Him being black was simply "good", for the step forward it represented in terms of representation, and that we could get there.
Apparently there is alot of black people that just...didnt "get it". And expected the oresident to be obviously black prioritizing exclusively . Smart people knew it wouldnt work like that, but that obama was a good step for the country.
We got Trump because of a split base, (bernie), electoral college, and white people showing their ass as a whitelash to obama.
