See, most dudes in their heart and soul know that their chick is not quite right, but they want to believe otherwise. And see, its that "wanting to believe otherwise" that always messes people up. The same thing happens with women...they meet a dude who they know is not quite ready for a relationship but they overlook it because they really like him, its all good until they go through his phone and find crude texts from other women and you know the rest.

People tend to overlook things in people they really like or are attracted to. Like dudes will see a woman who is very pretty and overlook the fact that she lives with her mom, works a low-end job, spends more than she makes, parties too much, dresses a bit too hoish, is on her phone too much and has a few too many dudes who claim to have hit it. But "she's a dime and I think I can work with her...plus she really is a good chick." Oh, and ladies, you're no different.

Its all good until you experience one of these stories in real life. And if you overlook someone's lifestyle and habits, then its damn near impossible not to experience one of these stories.

When dealing with people, its best to try and be objective. Yea, she's pretty but what about her life though? If her life is messed up, then she's a messed up person most likely.

If bad things keep happening to a person, that in itself is a HUGE red flag. For instance, I have an ex who just cannot seem to avoid drama. Yet, it's never her fault. It isn't her fault her parents don't trust her, it isn't her fault she's gone through a ton of bad relationships and was abused by a previous boyfriend who just used her for sex (in her opinion), it's not her fault that she's gotten sexually assaulted and/or jumped at least five times in her life (that I know about). Fact is, though the girl has a good heart, she is a terrible decision-maker and is quite messed up, which just causes more terrible decisions. It's sad really. And I'm sure we all have come across at least one female/male like this in our lives.

Incredibly charismatic chick, funny, smart, very caring and affectionate, great body, cooks and cleans, sex skills few could rival...she'd be perfect...if she wasn't messed the fukk up!!

She did a short stint in therapy recently before being kicked out of her parents crib, so now she's starting to see where her issues came from and is starting to make changes--but she's still getting into drama. She's much calmer though. Even still, she has a long way to go.

Nice girl though...everybody who met her liked her. Truth be told, I have a soft spot for her so I check in with her every so often and give her advice when she needs it. But she's not healthy to be around because she's so unhealthy herself. You ever met someone whose energy just weighs you down after awhile, like their negativity is contagious, and they just seem to have a bleak aura about them even when they're happy and joking around? Yup. As a rule I don't fukk with anybody who has drama. I'm too old for that. I straight up told this chick I couldn't deal with her because she doesn't control her life. Not a long story at all. Like others have said once you have a feeling something is going on, it probably is.

My main giveaway was the fact that when she was with me she had her phone on her at all times. But I would get late replies on text. Instead of confronting her on it I just sat back n let her get comfortable for a couple weeks and then I randomly checked her phone and found text exchanges from a dude I didn't recognize, she told me it was a co worker. Based on some of the times of the text I was able to conclude that she wasn't where she said she was on some days.
