This is lust my guy, it may not look like it but it is and probably very intertwined with your religious values and fitting squarely within them.

You, like most people are depressed and suicidal because you yearn for purpose, to serve others.

Now it has to be done in balance, taking care of yourself is a must but your life is boring because you're not being of service to anyone, not in a way that makes you feel like drudging through this life is worthwhile. There is no age limit on making a positive impact on others lives and you'll find it's hard to even think about your limitations when you are being there for someone else.

Focus on THAT, not dating or children, service. Funny thing about it is, there just might be a woman along the way on the same path (there will be).

But to answer your question, outside of what everyone else said about trial and error and acclimating yourself to the interaction I also think you’ve gotta start building a routine strictly for yourself that involves constructive things that you like to do. Women love it when men are locked in and they notice it. Another caveat of that is that you’re focused on your own thing so there’s less mental space for overthinking your dealings with women.

Basically, doing something like that is a very strong foundation for eventually meeting and building something with a woman because you’ll have a better balance between appreciation for yourself and attraction for a significant other. Last thing she wanna feel is like your whole world revolves around her, she’s gotta feel like she’s joining you on a lit ass adventure when she get with you.

Don’t mention it, a big part that brehs miss is that you gotta be on your own shyt and passionate about it to the point that you’ve got cool things that you’re getting into all the time. It makes you interesting to them, shows that you can lock in and dedicate to something, shows you appreciate and think highly of yourself to maintain discipline, and again, it makes you overthink way less because she’s just a passing moment in your dynamic day and it’s up to you at that point to either invest some of your precious time on her or not.

Any strong desire born of lack is lust my g.

People lust for money, lust for fame, lust for relationships, children, families, you can't even carry all that right now, you're too dysregulated and the "want" is moreso coming from a void. And I'm not singling you out, we all go through that.

But the path of the Christ is learning how to embody the love you seek. If you focus on that, seek first the kingdom everything else will fall into place.

And being a nurse is a noble service for sure. Just keep in mind there are other people like you, ones even further down a dark road that could use help. When you find your way out of a particular challenge part of your service can be passing that knowledge on.
