It's strange in all honesty because I knew about death from an early age due to someone in my family dieing but when it came to me being dead? Didn't know it could happen til I was like 8 or 9.

I was talking to my mom and I don't really remember what she said but it came to me that we all die one day.

I didn't even wanna finish my sandwich as I sat there like :mjcry: trying to think why God would do such a thing.

This was back when I still fully believed in God so it was so backwards to me.

Ya feel me?
I shmell ya:mjcry:

I can't understand how anyone thinks that everything that makes up planet its cycles, to space and its gravitational pull and orbital cycles think there is no higher power. You might not believe in God or religion but to deny the fact that everything about everything that we know is a well oiled working machine is crazy. I guess it all just fell into place:yeshrug:
interesting :ehh:

I can't understand how anyone thinks that everything that makes up planet its cycles, to space and its gravitational pull and orbital cycles thinks theres a higher power that cares about what humans do on a day to day basis :mjlol:

Jesus
in other words, dont be a muslim right :sas1:

Some people have a comfort zone they don't want to step out of. Absolute truth doesn't live inside a subjective space nor is dependent on thoughts, opinions or feelings.

It would be nice if some Muslims looked at why Jesus died rather than if He died.

It hit me a few years ago, granted I'm aware of our mortality but you never really think about it until a certain point.

My wife was wanting to see a friend of hers after I got off from work. I was tired that day so I said we'll catch him on the weekend. The dude died that night in his sleep.. I never met the guy before but that shyt hit me in a real way. From that point on, I've lived like today could be my last.

Ya feel me?

When I was in fourth grade, my sister picked me up from the Boys and Girls club and took me home.

I remember because it was night time, and all the stars were out. She was playing "Ex Factor" by Lauryn Hill and it had me feeling really introspective.

I looked up into the stars and I realized for the first time that the universe was this [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ big and earth was this small .

We're a little dot in a big black universe :mjcry:

We're insignificant :mjcry:

We trapped on this blue ball like fish in a fish bowl :mjcry:

This is all we'll ever be :mjcry:

There's some kid playing a video game in another dimension and we call him God :mjcry:

We're trapped on this planet Earth, which is trapped in this Milky Way galaxy which is trapped with several other solar systems in this one universe but, there has to be something outside of it :mjcrydoughboy:we're like zoo animals in the sense that we're being controlled by a higher life form (god), and in the sense for believing life starts and ends in the zoo (earth/the universe) but, the humans (god) live and exist in a place outside of the zoo (universe).

We're Sims characters and we don't realize it :mjcrydoughboy:We'll never be able to leave the game :mjcrydoughboy:
I realized this at 9 years old just from looking at the stars and got really depressed the rest of the way home :mjcrydoughboy:

don't really care
the molecules that make up your body have always existed in some capacity

all birth is in my opinion is the formation of an identity an identity that is dependent wholly on circumstance and imagination

death is the end of human self deception
all things are equal in their importance

or insignificance depending on how you look at it:yeshrug:*

I realized it when I McVeigh set off the bomb. I was 8 years old and I asked my mother's friend, who taught sunday school, what did those people
do to make God upset enough to murder them. I didn't get a straight answer. Some mental gymnastics shyt.

"Everything happens for a reason."
"God has a plan."

That type of shyt. From there I lost faith and realized that "eternal life" thing was something people told themselves so they wouldn't be afraid of death.

It bugged me for a few months, but then I got over it, wondering more why people lied to me. Turns out, plenty of people believe in fairy tales.
They couldn't help but lie to me.

At first I was petrified (6 years old) but later in life I came to the realization that the mere possibility of this being it and nothing after made me feel as though I gotta live to the fullest and take advantage of everything life has to offer. :manny:

This makes me wonder if it's better to be aware of your mortality at a young age or when you're older. The shyt hit me in my early 20's and I was legit shook for years after that. I can't imagine going through my teens, doing all the insane shyt I did, with that big of knowledge.

I was going through life like God was my body vest. :snoop:

I was five. We were watching the Wiz on the VCR. My morbid dad was talking about how the tin man died and was just going through everyone in the cast who died. I flipped out freaking out about death. :sadcam:

He still does that shyt. it irritates me
