Probably didn't really get college until halfway through. Just show up to class, do homework, and talk to your professor. If you try hard, they'll try their best to help you the grade you want.

Establishing a relationship with your professor/teacher and going to class frequently is very important especially if you're the one of the only minorities in your class. They'll remember you as soon as you walk in the door.

Unless they are the occasional a$$hole professor. Then you just gotta throw em in the bushes quick before they do the same to your grade. :sadcam:

Tuition costs too much to be taking classes more than once. Plus a good number of the course I had to take were only offered every two years. :mindblown:

I grew trees while in college and balled hard. There was a hydroponic shop in the next town over and I had a friend who was an electrician. Started right when I got there, got an off campus crib and let my freshman roommate have the dorm to himself (mandatory first year in dorms). Set up friends, and gave away my equipment on "credit" when I left college, had bricks of cash anyways. Now when I go back to visit my homies still living there I get treated like a king. College was amazing. Get involved in something on campus. I had a rap radio show on the college radio station and I always had the newest and best music funded by my side hustle. That radio station got me the best seats to every concert on campus and interviews with some people I respected musically.

I always felt like regular students that didn't play sports had it easier than student athletes. All they had to do was go to school. While we had to go straight to practice after classes, watch film, get treatment, study hall and make it to the mess hall in time to eat.

I made it thru by goin to class, baggin bytches, playin ball , a nygga had to stay eligible in order to play:manny:

Damn ya'll had study hall after practice too? That shyt sucks dikk, you like damn can a nikka just finally go home. :why:

I've never understood how nikkas could fail a class. I've NEVER gotten a "D" in a class. Let alone a "F"

shyts crazy.

But to answer OP's question, its all about what kinda people you put yourself around. If u hang around nikkas who aint about shyt, you aint gonna be shyt.

It wasn't that hard, at all.

If I posted my transcripts, you would probably :deadmanny: at my grades and the fact that they actually let me graduate.

I got through college by writing down a daily checklist specific down to the hour. I had the time I would eat, sleep, work out, homework and study. It made my life so much easier and I ended up having much more free time than I normally would because I got to much shyt out of the way.

If you're a person who doesn't need to be around people all the time, you should be fine.

i was horrible in high school, ZERO work ethic. Once I got into college, I had to just bear down and get after it. What worked for me was INSTANTLY going to the library after class and doing the homework right there. Also if there were any papers I had to write I would just do a page or two each day to break up the work. Going right after class keeps the mind in "learning mode" so to speak and is easier than going back to your dorm/apartment and having distractions of video games, roommates, etc. Writing a paper while your boys are all watching Monday Night Football is not a good look.

Basically, just use your time well and you'll be straight. Save your weekends for chasing after that :shaq: and having a good time.

Pell Grants and a Scholarship :win:

I gotta maintain a 2.5 GPA to keep my scholarship and I'm pulling down a 3.6 so I'm winning on all angles right now :obama:
