I remember watching this back in the day and the shyt caught me off guard . Not like I was overly disgusted, but it was the first time DBZ had something like this happened. Then that thing started going around doing that to everybody. Not a way I would want to go out.

That was just the beginning--

If 17 and 18 had actually GOTTEN OUT OF THERE while Tien was stalling Cell...

If Krillin had actually gotten 18 out of there instead of checking her out on that when he had the remote...

If Trunks hadn't gone all Deebo and bulked up too much to the point that he couldn't catch Cell...

If Vegeta hadn't LET Cell absorb 18 just to have a stronger fight...

If Bulma had actually TOLD 16 that she removed his bomb...

If Goku hadn't given Cell a Senzu bean...

If Gohan had murked Cell when he had the chance right after going SSJ2...

EDIT: If Goku hadn't taken ten years to say his goodbyes before he teleported away with an about to detonate Cell...

If he had grabbed King Kai and TELEPORTED OUT OF THERE before Cell exploded...

Come to think of it, maybe King Kai was probably why Goku didn't teleport back to Earth immediately. If Goku teleported, he basically committed a massive murder of not only a good person, but one of the higher ups of the Other World.

Goku would've likely been labeled a not so pure person by Yemma if he suddenly went back to earth and left Cell to kill King Kai and the others. He likely stayed to make sure his own death was a cost for his current action of sacrificing everyone in addition to saving the Earth.

The point is, he didn't need to do that though

If he teleported Cell there, then teleported himself and Kai BACK to Earth, Cell doesn't have a chanced to come back stronger.
