And no - im not an atheist at all. I fully believe and talk to God/The Creator/higher power daily, just make my own rules of life with him, and do my best to be a kind person to everyone.

I don’t subscribe to any man-delivered religions or messages.

But how does everyone (my family, your family, etc) just gloss over the only reason we as Black folks follow the Christian religion is due to being beaten into it through Slavery and Colonialism. (Talking about the majority of us Americans, Caribbeans, Africans, not any ancient Ethiopians or whatnot with their own form of Christianity)

do we all just ignore/not even look at history?

Nobody beat Christianity into me.

Its what my Granny believed, and her Granny before her, so it’s what I believe too.

It’s not the religion, it’s how you use it to better your own life.

You’d know that if you actually had someone that loved you that wasn’t devilish.

What part of the Christian religion is a problem for you?
How is it holding back the current generation of black people who are just Spiritual. How are the current youth held back by a religion they don't even follow.

Was Christianity forced on Ethiopians.

Seems like a cac thread because you're assuming black people are only Christians because of slavery when it clearly existed in Africa before slavery.

We won't even get into black nobility aka the black presence in Europe before slavery. Christianity been around and we been in it.
