What part of the Christian religion is a problem for you?

you guys keep projecting and putting words in my mouth breh….i said nothing was wrong about Christianity, i strictly asked how do black folks accept why we are christians in 2021.

This is just a history perspective question, not a religious debate one.

I’m not.

I follow the religion that my ancestors followed, one out of respect for them, two because I understand religion on a deep enough level to be at peace with that.

I’m almost 100% certain none of you retards would get that.
What about your ancestors that were born before Jesus

Easily.
Christianity predates slavery and was adopted in Africa before the Atlantic slave trade minus slave traders. 1sr 2nd century AD. You don't know who was Christian and who was not.

White people taught a b*stardized version of Christianity for mind control since black people in those times were not literate. If they were they'd see scripture that speaks of the kidnappers of men.

Once we were able to read English we came into a deeper understanding of the word.

Once we learned Jesus and the figures in the bible were black we had a stronger connection to the word and our place in this story since it's about us. We were told it was about them..

Seeing what happens when you move away from scripture is apparent in our people right now which strengthens belief it's not like we moved away from scripture and things got better.

Lastly King James was a black man

But how does everyone (my family, your family, etc) just gloss over the only reason we as Black folks follow the Christian religion is due to being beaten into it through Slavery and Colonialism. (Talking about the majority of us Americans, Caribbeans, Africans, not any ancient Ethiopians or whatnot with their own form of Christianity)

do we all just ignore/not even look at history?

This is incorrect. Who told you this?

Idk what you mean by “people like you” because OP said he believes in God. Are you saying non-Christians? Like our greatest heroes Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X? Or the richest man in history Mansa Musa? I could go on :usure:
