And no - im not an atheist at all. I fully believe and talk to God/The Creator/higher power daily, just make my own rules of life with him, and do my best to be a kind person to everyone.

But how does everyone (my family, your family, etc) just gloss over the only reason we as Black folks follow the Christian religion is due to being beaten into it through Slavery and Colonialism. Christianity predates slavery and was adopted in Africa before the Atlantic slave trade minus slave traders. 1sr 2nd century AD. You don't know who was Christian and who was not.

Once we were able to read English we came into a deeper understanding of the word.
