I worked 12 hour shifts with one day off for awhile I think my mind went delusional after a while
How do brehs deal with working 2nd/3rd shifts?!

I definitely agree though about the time suck. But is that's what you have to do, do it.

We almost work the same shift. Then I turn around and work another job from 4-8 or 9.i like to think i have the GOAT work shift: 6am-2:30pm....my job is like 15 min away from my crib, I'm definitely
Sleep patterns... I get off at 11, come home and stay up til like 1(on a good night) 3 or later If the coli is cracking. Sleep til like 10am if I'm lucky. TRY to get in the gym for a 1 1/2 hr session 2 1/2 is my goal. Leave by 1:30 at the latest cause I gotta get home to shower cause I gotta get my niece from school. Get her back help with her homework & next thing I know I'm heading out the door to work again...
I missed Drizzy, Ye, Bey, & Rih cause their shows were on weeknights. Hell I missed the Bad Boy one too. I can only catch a Bulls game on the weekends... the last time I saw a Bulls game that wasn't on a Saturday or Sunday was I thjnk Thanksgiving. I saw the Cubs win only cause the game went over & the rain delay. The only time I catch the news is mid-day news since the evening runs while at work & morning is while I'm sleep.

nah, i cant do night shifts. Mayybe 2nd shift but I hate those because everything you do during the day gets shortened because you are worried about being late for work. But I value my sleep too much to do the graveyard shift. no amount of coffee in the world keeps me up. when my body wants to go night night nikka its a wrap.
I mostly work shifts from 4 or 5 til about 1230. I've gotten used to it. Gives me the chance to go to any appointments during the day or hit up the gym when it's not as crowded. Used to go late night but the day works as well. I've always been a night owl so I won't go to bed until atleast 3 am. Wake up around 10 or 11. Sometimes later if I'm having a lazy day. What sucks is the days like today where I left work at 1230 and had to come back at 630 this morning. I don't know how I'm still standing or why I even went out after work.

I think you just the plug I been looking for.State Government job doing IT helpdesk for Central Booking and other Maryland jails. All fun and games until some shyt breaks and you gotta go down there. Being inside a prison was the worst experience ever.

I'm making good money working the 2-10pm shift now. The best part is you can wake & go to bed pretty much whenever you want. But its shytty because you miss literally everything that happens in the afternoon: happy hours, concerts, any social gathering, NBA games, everything

Just don't make it a permanent way of life. Stack your paper for now and make an exit plan.

I work 3 days a week 12 hour shift and make the same salary than working 5 days 9 to 5 and i can spend the rest of the week on school and doing other things, not really bad if you have goal and know how to manage your schedule
