You let off with an Ar15 indoors without hearing protection, you can get permanent hearing damage.

Went to get a hearing test last year and the nurse told me i got freakishly small ear holes so its muffs from here on out

i think it's different for everyone even tho i can't think of a scientific reason for it, the levels in the pic below should be the same for everyone. i got brehs who are paranoid about ear pro n still have the EEEEEEEEEEEEE, i'm pretty careless but have no health problems (mostly shoot pistols outdoors tho).

i kno everyone hates those foam shyts but i love them tho. i think a lotta the hate stems from the military giving troops defective ones made by 3m which resulted in tens of thousands of soldiers going deaf.
