Understand the history of those islands many people especially in D.R. are mixed or have mostly African ancestry, the slave trade happened out there too ya know.
If you not from the Northeast you can't talk, it's a bunch of half Rican and half black nikkas here, we grew up together culturally, we grew up in the same hoods doing the same exact things. I mean especially if you from the Bronx where literally everyone is either black, Dominican or Puerto Rican you'd know.
