unessicary. you either know you got that pass or you know you aint got no biz saying it. you think a spanish person can be a "nikka". cuz they act just like some goya seasoned nikkas to me
I feel you, that's just not some way of thinkin I'm used to, I just feel like a lot of them take advantage of that kind of thing but really don't give a damn about black people or our issues.

*insert paul mooney quote*

If they're next to is when it's time to March is really the final determinant for me. When one of us getsgunned down I expect a lot of Hispanic out cry if they wanna associate with black so much. I noticed a lot of the Hispanic community came out for the Garner March though:ehh:

Because you don't understand it. So you're just making blanket statements to fill your outrage. If the dudes that deal with it are cool with it, then oh well. You'll be on the other side of the world and still not dealing with it. It's really a regional conversation anyway, I doubt this happens in any other country than America, and maybe Puerto Rico.

nikkas say nikka all the time around people that ain't nikkas and then other nikkas want to control who can say nikka. Whether it's right or wrong it's nikkas fault for letting it be a word of choice anywhere. The shyt is like bling bling was. Half the people using it don't even understand the fukked up history of the word, especially this current undereducated generation.

So in your case, you're not from the states and have only met 7 Latinos, how do you find qualified to speak on them? You know some have dark skin. What do you tell them? It's ok for them but not their light skinned cousin? We all know when somebody is being racist and when they aren't. Quite frankly, I don't use the word around other races, and I don't think any black people should. But I also understand the way this country works. Once you introduce something like this for mainstream use, you have to kill it totally or just let it be.
I've tried to understand it. So far "we grew up together", "they listen to hip hop", "it's the culture" and "stfu nikka!" are the only answers I've gotten. I comment on black worldwide, always have and always will. It's not wrong and I doubt you even believe that, whether you do or not is irrelevant.

You're right it's black people's fault. Not for using it themselves but for letting them say it.

If they have dark skin, maybe they're Afro-Latino (black) and the problem doesn't exist. If their cousin is not black then oh fukking well. We clearly disagree. There is no point replying because you don't think I'm qualified to speak on it.

ya'll would lose your shyt if you rode the train in the BX after school lets out
and they wouldnt say a damn thing.

There was a thread on here where a Coli Militant was heated because he saw a black man wearing a shirt about the Ferguson situation (that supported the cops)....
...that lame ass dude came on here to post about it while he was at the bar...talking about "I should go up to him".

Dude got roasted for coming to the internet for moral support....:mjlol:

TX dude: "its a southern thing" :yeshrug:

ii dont have to understand why yall do alot of things yall do either but im not a product of that culture and its not for me to understand
I noticed this too, personally I only just realized im desensitized to it since I've seen it my whole life, when Kanye tried to throw it on the jacket I was shocked so many people were upset.

But down here it's just like a badge for white trash so I never payed much attention to it until I actually researched what it meant

im telling you. i grew up in spanish harlem man. our cultures are really that inertwined. i could take you to a place like ricardos steak houes that plays bachata and biggie in the same mix and the black folks dancin to the spanish shyt knowing the words and the spanish people lovin the biggie records. if i got a problem with police, they do too. its different up here , we keep saying that but you gotta really be here to understand it.

Why do people keep saying this? :why:

When people say 'nikka' they're not using it in a racial way you fukking idiot :snoop:.
Nikka means friend,bro,buddy,homie etc.

If you're going to blame anyone, blame rappers for using it on every line.
Shyt, that's the main reaosn why black people use it.
That's why I said reclaim it for them. Then it won't be "racial", fukking idiot.

I blame the spics(friends.)

They'll never understand that. It's too easy to blanket everything.

Yeah that's not my point

Zimmerman is the same type of Latino your homie down the block could be, god knows they look down on us while embracing our culture. Y'all usin the same logic Charlemagne used when he defended bieber after he said the N word, that bieber can't be racist sense he embraces our culture.

Y'all can sort it out though, there bigger problems in NY than who can say the N word like stop N frisk

stop n frisk law been gone

How would you feel about a light-skinned black person saying it then?

It's one thing to be okay with it. It's another to attack black people for objecting to non-blacks saying it. How do you even begin to rationalize that ?
