How do u feel about phone screens being face down?

My phone goes into sleep mode and mutes sounds and preserves battery when it's face down.

That and it's always locked anyway, and I never have my ringer on, always a quick vibrate. Only times it does a quick buzz is for text and calls, 95% of which is work.

My lady knows I don't answer/talk/text on my phone. I don't even answer/talk/text her and she knows this.

It's amazing how when you actually talk to your spouse face to face how much of an understanding you can achieve.

That and we spend all evening and night in the same house, no need to text and talk when we are at work unless there is an emergency. Other than that she'll text me "get xxx xxx from the store"

Nothing really.

I got paranoid and deleted everything off my phone.

Like is said I don't even text my girl back. I really should have a prepaid cause I maybe use 5 minutes an entire month talking and there's been a few months I don't talk or use minutes on it at all.

I basically use it for unlimited data. I illegally download more ebooks than anything. No movies or TV shows. Just read sites, browse YouTube and read ebooks.

I figure if I ever go off the deep end when they check my phone they won't have shyt. Cause I don't talk/text on it. And if worse comes to worse I'll just destroy the device.

Yeah if my phone has to be on the table while eating. I just have it facedown. But I’m usually on my phone when I eat anyways

That's an insecure projection. If I put my phone face down on the table that's a visible signal that I'm ignoring everyone else and giving you my full attention. If I wanted to hide something you'd never see my phone at all.

Pretty much. If I’m in the company of someone who I want to give my undivided attention, my phone is face down. My SO has complete access to my phone whenever he wants. I’ve told him
my passcode (although I doubt if he remembers it), not because he wanted it to snoop or anything but at times he needs to use my phone when he doesn’t have his or if he’s looking at something I showed him and it logs off while he’s reading. If you trust your partner and you also have nothing to hide the phone being turned over means nothing.
