How do we stop school shootings without crossing the imaginary line that the pro 2nd amendment crowd has drawn?

Obviously we know these things will help but they aren't happening. What are some things we can do that they might actually budge on?
You don’t negotiate on this.
There is no middle ground here. This is a moral issue at this point.

We need to elect people who will do something.

We aren’t going to change the minds of these fukking a$$holes.

You literally have to negotiate though, that's my entire point. It's unlike enough of the right people will be elected.

Above the fray.
You can only reduce the chance of mass shootings. Any sentence that begins "we can stop school shootings by" is a lie.

Spend more money on media campaigns to let people know what types of mental health and life counseling resources exist in their communities. Try to get universal background check laws for gun purchases

Some troubled people out there who cross over into being demons and harming other people. There will always be people like that

Obviously you can't literally stop every mass shooting and can only reduce them. In my opinion they can be greatly reduced where they are very rare.

stopping it without crossing that line would be almost impossible at this point. They've already normalized school shootings (along with mall and other shootings) and decided everything else is to blame besides automatic rifles. As a country, we normalize violence to the point where it barely impacts us.

St louis
this country was built on Slavery,
White Jesus and Guns.
This country put perversion's
before Equality.
This country would rather remove Slavery,Martin luther king,
Rosa parks and Harriet from books than to look in the mirror.
This country see's being woke/awake as a bad thing.
This country elected drumpf/Nero who is more
than happy to watch rome burn while he plays music.
This is the End of a very long Fuse.
I'm so Happy that it's almost over.

There actually is something other than talking about the logic of gun control which could affect change. Stigmatize the ignorance that has America in a chokehold. Vocalize and normalize how ignorant all arguments for guns in 2023 are. Make it cool and socially approved to be wise, intelligent, thoughtful, kind, empathetic.

People are ultimately susceptible to group trends. If group trends go toward understanding how stupid guns are, guns themselves will begin to be more stigmatized.
