It got old a year and a half ago in NXT. People were saying the whole time how silly it would look in a big arena with a long entrance, and it looks absolutely stupid. Worse than people imagined. Then it's supposed to be this intimating thing, but he looks ridiculous because he's 5 inches shorter than Seth. Plus calling him "Demon King" over and over is as dumb as it was calling Kane "Demon Kane" all of the sudden.

And I'm talking about people online instead of live crowds who could see how stupid it looked on TV in a big arena. shyt, even the Japan show last year it looked goofy as shyt, and then it looked even dumber at the Brooklyn, London, and Dallas shows. Then you do it at a Raw show where the entrance is twice as long to the ring as NXT show and it looked dumb as fukk.

That was seriously underwhelming. Finn Balor is generic as all fukk to be honest. He doesn't do anything that any other cruiserweight flippity floppity wrestler does in the ring. There are 32 Finn Balor's in that Cruiserwight Classic tournament right now.
He has zero charisma or skills on the mic and then after all the "Demon King" hype all we got was the same Balor just in The Boogie Man cosplay.

Finn is gonna work barring injury, his Japan work alone will keep the smarks at bay.

he looks like the "of the moment crossfitter/pretty boy" (pause) so there's the women in his pocket.

Kids will attach to the look of the demon paint especially for house shows (Halloween costumes)

This is spot on. Even if I've never cared about him (since he was in Japan) there's no question he has everything to "work" in WWE. The only thing that could damage him is this push getting mismanaged and he gets a backlash by the same fans that think he's good just because he worked Japan. He could get exposed if they put him against people fans feel "deserve" his spot more than him. In 2016 that's just as important as everything else you just posted.

The good news for Finn is that I don't think there's a wrestler on the RAW roster that could gather enough hardcore fan support for them to turn on Finn. The only one would be a face Rollins but they'll never do a face Seth vs face Balor program so he's safe.

I don't think I'll watch a lot of RAW with him on top but I understand why they are going with him. Jeff Hardy is a great comparison (though I think Jeff at his peak was better than Finn), no matter how you feel about him, you gotta give WWE the nod for going with him and capitalizing on his popularity.

He's good enough to do all the textbook Indy flippy shyt and can sell just well enough to make a person care.

The presentation and the person playing it are why it's gonna work IMO

tumblr is a strong indicator of what's gonna click as a character, when teenage girls start making those borderline obsessed "Finngirl2016" etc pages that document a wrestlers every move in ring and out side it via gif, pic or video you're going to connect on that end.

That's where the $$$ is and WWE in general knows that.
