I thought running the pick under some water between each tooth would remove the plaque and bacteriaDon’t use floss picks unless you’re out and about. All you’re doing is re-depositing plaque onto the next tooth. You need clean floss to remove plaque properly. Use Glide or a spongey type floss daily. Hug the floss against the tooth making the letter “C”, bring it all the way down to the bottom of the gum pocket, then bring it back up.

Do waterpicks work?Remember, bacteria is microscopic. You’re mainly removing food debris.

I prefer flossing, but a water pick is clinically proven to remove plaque better@Sugarbush what is better and more effective, manual flossing or using a water pick??
I must not be using the water pick correctly because Im not able to get it off as well vs using floss.I prefer flossing, but a water pick is clinically proven to remove plaque better
They have satin floss specifically for that. I used it when I had braces and it worked well.My teeth too closely packed for floss to enter.
