Get a pocket knife and start sharpening or fidgeting with it anytime they start asking, they'll get nervous about it real quick.

You DO need to use the pocket knife in some form or fashion tho :whoa: every now and again when no ones bothering you too. Don't just use it for intimidation.

Well it depends if they asking different questions then the problem is you. If they are asking questions you already answered then they must be a slow worker
Nah they need help for everythin. and jump in front to present your ideas like its “theirs”

I don't know where you work but I play dumb and give folks the resources to find the answer. I rarely do any work for anyone else, if ever. I don't get paid to answer questions or do work for someone in my same position.

Dog i tell the bytch the resources but she still finds a way to ask for my sht as a “going forward” basis. Every other hour she wants a 30mn meeting to ask questions:dahell:

we work the same position but she’s the senior one …

Discuss the queries with your manager and the approach you plan on taking.

Set up a framework that tracks queries coming in and the responses. You will want to ensure that you're not getting the same queries.

Put more of the responsibility on them e.g. have the submit queries in a prescribed way, have them setup the meeting to go through queries, encourage them to provide proposals.

Depending on how the queries are coming through, you might want to agree with your manager a turn around time for providing a response. If people know it will take 2 days to get a response, there is more incentive for them to independently find the solution.

I help them just make sure your superiors know about it especially in your annual reviews.

She probably got by cuz someone always giving a piggyback ride. If you really want to help her, that's cool because maybe you had a better training or experience. But overall, you might wanna dead that if it's bothering you. No lie, I'd literally ignore it or make it clear that I'm busy.

Go in do not disturb for the day and fill your calendar up with meetings. You can’t go wrong with strategy meetings on the calendar. They could be anything.

Book you a 9-11. Take lunch from 12-1. Then book you a 1-4. Fake busy equal chill mode.
I be doing that sht but she still finds ways to ask questions. and indians have a way to not respect DnD status. I book my whole calendar.

Its not that i had better training experience just that im flat out more intelligent with how i process information and react. She told me out of he mouth she gets threatened by how quick and how many sht i do. so now i just give her half information or say “ive not started on that yet”
