I'm 31, in hindsight it would have been best if I would have just bummed it a couple of years with a shyt load of room mates. i moved out when i was 17.
my pops told my i wasn't ready to live on my own and that i would be back in a week.
i took that as a personal challenge.
no matter how hard things got i refused to go back.

one day he stopped by my job and offered my $100.
i told him i was ok and didn't need it.
the look on his face was priceless.

i love my pops but i had to let him know that i was gonna do for myself.
i could really have used that $100 but i felt much better not taking it.

My uncle stayed with my grandma til he was like 26. Had his wife and first son there at the time too, ain't nothing to be ashamed of. He ended up being a millionaire and even while he was there he was doing damn decent for himself, just stacking his chips for a wedding and a home.
