How do you all feel about Ben Carson?

Why not research Carson's political offerings and opinions rather than asking dumb, leading questions?

Carson is an ignorant buffoon when it comes to socio-political analysis, and is simply led around by the nose by Sean Hannity types. Carson has likened the ACA to Nazi germany, and called it "the worst thing since slavery". Hes said other wacky things like basing tax recommendations on the "logic" of Jesus tithes, liberals are more "racist" than other groups of people, and recently he jumped on the unproven "fractured orbital bone" train in maligning Micheal Brown who was killed in Ferguson. Im forgetting a lot of stupid shyt hes said too.

Carson was fairly popular around here last year, which is documented by past threads, but after repeated confirmations of his lunacy and offensiveness even those who lean conservative gave up on him.

Hes got about as much of a chance of running and becoming president as JFK Jr currently does, which is probably white conservatives pretend like they'd vote for him.

I was so disappointed to hear him say these goofy things, the man is supposed to be a luminary. I don't know if he has a brain tumor, been brain washed or has chosen to become a total shill

Both parties fukked up...Repubs fukked up a bit more by doubling down on a losing hand (evangelical Christians).
Dems have their looney crowd as well...Feminist, some Atheist, etc.... basically the whiny people of the country.

Most people fall down the middle w/ slightly conservative financial leanings.
If repubs went back to the nuts and bolts of the party they will have no problem gaining traction.
Everyone starts off Democrat (especially when they are young)...but as people move up the ladder they get more conservative.
Youre going to see this w/ a lot of immigrants & young white & black people (what some of you like to call new blacks).

Not all Republicans are Fox news republicans...most have some damn sense.

...Politicians use statements like that to catch eyes and headlines. I just looked it up, and he explained that he said that because he felt ACA kept people connected to the Government.
Also...whats wrong w/ him saying liberals are more racist? I bet his reasoning is that they tend to talk down to blacks...meaning, they come to us acting like we cant govern/take care of ourselves. They always tend to only talk about issues of the poor.

i wont call him a c00n, but i would never vote for him. seeing him deflect a fox news segment on mike brown into a black on black crime issue was enough for me. he doesnt even seem confident in speaking on anything policy related. considering he is a doctor with apparently little to no actual policy experience, i have to say that i dont understand his appeal to conservatives as a candidate, but then again, they loved palin. to me it seems like maybe their field of candidates is so piss poor that they have to hype a guy they think can actually broaden the base. at least herman cain had the 999 plan...

They hype lousy candidates because they are part of a minority group. Palin, Cain, Carson, West. Which is funny because they are so anti affirmative action.

Said it before and will say it again: there is nothing wrong with being a black republican. Conservativism is largely about your economic views and your views on the size of government. Nothing to do with race.

That being said Carson is another black republican c00ning for white support by making outrageous comments, semi racist comments about the president/black people, and using violent rhetoric. I saw him on Fox and the host confronted him about his statement that there might not be an election in 2016 because of anarchy/Obama takeover. shyt is insane, PERIOD.

He has said America is heading towards Nazi Germany times due to Obamacare. He compares gay people to bestiality. This man is a medical genius, you can't tell me he's this dumb. It's an act.

Lets make this distinction:

He's not "dumb"...he's just delusional.

Its the same way that sometimes smart people can justify religious thoughts.
