If Josh Giddey cannot play off-ball you’re doomed with him as a franchise guy.
Brunson,Cade,Hali and Trae are all Lead playmakers that dominant the bal but they can also stress a defense by their their ability to score off the dribble consistently . Giddey hasn’t proved that over a extended period of time he can do that. If you always have the ball in your hand and can’t do that..Your team is toast offensively .
If Giddey figures that out then they’re on the right track.
If Coby White is really Kyrie then yall on the right track because despite the numbers Giddey is putting up Coby is really the one driving it

Giddey's impact is different than others right now off-ball. He's shooting close to 40% from 3 this season. IMO he will be fine if he continues to make his set jumper.
Giddey isn't one of the top guys level as a playmaker and he moves the ball more than people seem to realize. He's not as ball dominate as people think. His ability to rebound is how he impacts both sides of the floor when he's off-ball which isn't really mentioned, but that's why his game is odd and weird, but right now it's working with Coby and his skill set.

If Giddey can be consistent from 3, and gets better with cutting to the basket, then that would work wonder for his game and the Bulls. With his size, I would not rule out him developing a post game as well. That would surely make him an All star
If Giddey gets stronger and eventually is able to defend 4s with his frame, then you can get real creative with some of the lineups you can run out there.
