Too many grifters. MLK era civil rights activists felt that shyt in their hearts. Too many modern era c00ns use their platforms for profit going back to Jessie Jackson.

MLK and Malcolm X came along before the voting rights act. Post voting rights act we actually have people whose job it is to represent us. How well they do that is another thread.

Too many voices to listen to and too much access to people is the problem. There will never be another Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan or Prince because we have way to much access to every celebrity. There was a mystique about them. Now we know weather they eat ass for intimacy or kiss in the mouth?
Also, there were like 2 news stations so when you heard something you took if for what it was and gossiped with your friends about it. Now the tv and your phone does the gossiping. So long as there’s all these things competing for our attention there will be no organized movement going forward. No matter what it is.
