It's up to the working class to change the system from what it is. Can't knock these guys under this system. :yeshrug:

No. The 0.1% are the ones who rigged the system in the first place. They allow themselves to perform legalised bribery, buy off politicians, who then adjust the system even more in their favour in a perpetual cycle.

Guess what, they're not going to give it up. There's less than a snowball's chance in hell that they would give up their power and resources. If you want resources, you gotta scrap for 'em. If the working class (the overwhelming majority of humanity) wants a fair and humane economy, it has to scrap for it. If your political line and political action is to sit around talking about how unfair things are and how horrible these folks are, here's a newsflash: things will continue as they have been.

So this explains why people are starving and living in the ghetto?

Should i assume by what you said that people in the ghetto don't scrap hard enough?

What about wealth inequality in regards to black America?

It's all opinions and assumptions on both sides of this argument.

Nobody really knows the total amount of wealth in the entire world.

The average person is not even aware of the amount of money just on this forbes list alone.

So you can be sure that even the most educated scholars in finance have no clue of the worlds Royal Family's and banking dynasty's true wealth.

In part, yes. There is little class consciousness and the working class doesn't organize and act in its interest, for the most part. Individuals scrap hard out here -- and I encourage people to survive and thrive -- but they largely do so as atomized individuals. Organizations scrapping for community control of resources and wealth, though? You don't see as much of that, but to advance and progress, that is what is really required.

The ruling class/bourgeoisie acts in its interests. The working class doesn't. As long as this is true, starvation and poverty will persist as social phenomena.

To be absolutely clear, I'm not talking about individuals. I'm not saying individuals aren't fighting hard enough. People are definitely struggling every day to survive and advance in life, and I respect their experiences and determination. But that whole lifelong struggle persists because the working class doesn't organize in its self-interest to change the way society functions.

Specifically with regards to African-Americans, the same principle applies. If we think about working-class politics and organization as a type of group economics, then the same criticism I made above is the same criticism so many of us make here on the Coli. African-Americans tend to not practice group economics. As a group, we tend to scrap for others.

Also brehs, "Forebs" is not a thing. Come on y'all :comeon: It's Forbes. I know some of us are playing fast and loose with the facts in this thread when it comes to math, but let's spell the names of publications correctly, at least :lolbron:
