Nash becomes a spot up shooter with this team. I don't give a shyt how many MVP's dude "won", he was never a DOMINANT player I feared.

I'd still put the ball in Kobe's hands and hope he feels like feeding his bigs.

Your fear of him is subjective, but he's one of the best offensive PG's ever. Running an offense though him is more efficient than through their volume scoring two guard.

If Bryant picked his spots and chose to take mostly good shots, they wouldn't have a hole offensively.

See i firmly believe that you dont want that to happen more than you believe it that the other stuff you said will happen.

And the whole "he doesn't like to take open shots" is beyond ridiculous

Like i said, we'll see.

I'm not superstitious, I don't think what I say or do will have any effect on future occurences and beyond that, I do think Dwight is going to end up with the Lakers so there's no jinx or anti-jinx going on. I just don't think adding two more 1st option players is going to fundamentally change the way Kobe and the team run the offense. They're both going to fall in line.

As for the open shots, if Kobe wanted open looks, he'd be getting them. He prefers to score mano y mano. He likes the added difficulty. If he comes off a screen and has a wide open shot, where is the challenge? Better yet, where is the excuse if he misses it? It sounds ridiculous but I really think he is more comfortable shooting when he is sizing someone up and/or has an added difficulty factor. If he makes it, he's amazing. If he misses, he's amazing for even having the confidence to attempt such a shot. Look how often the ball is kicked out to him and he hesitates when he receives the ball and waits for the defender to close. When they don't close, he seems to usually throw up a very flat shot and doesn't make nearly as many as it seems like he should. He's been playing that way his whole career and I don't see him suddenly doing a 180 now.

If Ray, KG, and Pierce can do it why cant a 5 time champion do it?

It'll be hard to guard a lineup of...

G - Wade
G - Jesus
F - Bron
F - Shard Lewis
C - Bosh

As well. That floor is going to be spread so well and Wade/Bron are going to be slashing to their hearts' content.

Since I've been on SOHH/The Coli he's been talking about how Kobe is a second rate player... He talks about Kobe more than I do and I'm always talking about kobe. :myman:
