The spurs and okc won't have any problems with that line up? In what kind of world do you actually think that's true? The lakers were only a few shots away from being up 3-1 on okc and that was with ramon sessions who could not hit a jumper to save his life in that series, and nash is a MUCH better shooter and playmaker than sessions. Dwight is also a much better defender than bynum, so once again in what world are you living?

they've been fronting the post and doubling and tripling bynum more and more as the season progressed. he saw as many double teams/triple teams as dwight last season. so in essence of an opponent having to game plan for you. they are even on that front.
dwight has less post moves, but is quicker with his faceup game and quicker to catch a lob. but lots not forget drew was catching lobs left and right during the season. it doesnt have to look as sexy as howard or dwight. just like all that lob city talk when the lakers had more lobs then the clippers at a point during last season. and the lakers didnt have a real pg. that should tell you something.

the difference in a couple of games was not cause okc was so great on defense. it was because we GAVE The ball to them. we literally said HERE OKC you want this game. here's a free turn over. here's a really horrible shot i'm about to take that you didnt even force me into. here ya go. take that horrible pass, and get you 2 points. take that long range bad shot and get you 2 points.
thats how we lost a couple of games vs okc. without those lapses we know good and well okc would not have been in the finals. just because the lakers only won 1 game. doesnt mean they could not have won the series. to many boneheaded mistakes will cost you enough games to get knock off in 5.
okc has 2 scorers you really have to worry about. harden is sometimey and most of his game now is a gimmic trying to draw fake fouls. if the refs arent bailing him out. he's going to have a tough night.
ibaka only shoots jumpers and gets putbacks. defensively he bothers people because he comes out of no where to block your shot(weakside shot blocker). nash wont allow that because he will run pick n roll all day with ibaka's man (GASOL)> ibaka will be involved in the intial play so there is no sneaking up on our guys with their backs turned. this will nullify a lot of his high jumping/shot blocking ability. and thats if we dont get howard. if we get a healthy dwight. ibaka cant out jump dwight. so there that goes.
also with nash. you run pick n rolls with bynum and KP's solid man to man defense is no longer as effective. he isnt that great moving laterally trying to defend the pick n roll. and while the pick n roll is going. there's another bigman on the back side just waiting for a pass to go to work behind the scenes. did i forget bean is waiting on the wing? we dont even need metta. thats how could this group of 4 will be as long as everyone is healthy.
now if we talk dwight. even when metta bricks an open 3 ball. dwight is just a quicker athlete then bynum. so he can get those bad bounces the go off the rim really quick. so a metta miss is a 2nd chance put back for dwight.
thunder fans better pray the old man lakers get hurt before we see them in the offs. cause if not, we're going to expose them and the heat for being unbalanced teams without a top level point guard and no low post presence.
