It's funny people complain about lazy welfare queens and nikkas sitting on their ass all day, but when it comes to establishing a living wage for people who work 8-10 hours 7 days a week with no health care, they complain about that too. Which is it? Either you want people to get off of welfare, or you want to support a system where the working poor still needs assistance to live. You can't have it both ways.

I still think 15 an hour is too much for such an unskilled profession as fast food though.

What doesn't make any sense, some you guys are like crabs in a bucket. Regardless of how someone made it, better their chance at survival and increased their living conditions - you guys come around and call them "govt dog" or or turn it into some racial issue. They're really not any more deserving than fast food workers tbh. Atleast fast food workers have a real job and not get babies by the govt

Her statement isn't even a knock against fast food workers that's just trying to make enough to pay their bills but more on how shytty military people get paid to risk their lives. It's so easy to look down on someone and say something don't have minimum skills then. But guess what, if you don't have people doing these jobs the world wouldn't run the way it does. Public bathrooms would never be cleaned, there would be no fast food restaurants, grass and trees would grow out of control. Noone is getting rich from a 30k salary and I will gladly pay a couple dimes more for my burger to make sure these people get treated fairly.
