Mannnnn my guy I know is fat like 5’11 340 he wanna get right and I tell him he gotta change the way he eats :mjlol: dude won’t do it still eats full family size bags of Doritos French fries and burgers for lunch and all that shyt,and everytime he talk to me about helping I just hit em with the :stopitslime: like I don’t care how hard you think you gonna work out or be consistent,if you keep eating how you eat your not gonna get in shape or lose any weight my man

My mom is like this though. Ain't nothing I can say to her that works. She's getting bigger and bigger. Always buying exercise equipment and not using it. Eats like a college student. I don't get it
fam parents are the worse.

My mom is the same...I gave up on that a long time ago :francis:

and then when you talk to them they want to talk about how some random part of their body hurts...or they're telling you how they gotta go to the doctor to handle something.

Difficult. I've tried giving practical advice. Very small things to start with, so it won't be overwhelming. Many people just don't start or don't commit.
I was kinda fat for less than a year and please believe people told me. I did a little research, made a plan and stuck to it Been good since. But my personality if someone is right i try to take something from it even if they don't deliver the message with tact. You have to push with one hand and hug with the other

I always tell people they need to lose weight. Friends, women, whoever.. Like someone got so big they hit that prediabetic stage and i'm like yoooo... You don't want to be on medication for life just lose weight.

Most of my day one homies are big as fukk. 1 already had a health impact from it, but he's working it on it now. The other sees it coming and is actively trying to do somthing. My other homie might be 5'10 400 lbs posting pictures of food and a big ass glass of powdered juice. shyt legit disgusts me when I see him posting that shyt. Once in a blue, he'll say he wants to work out or do something. It never manifests. I encourage him when he mentions it, but I don't go any further because you can't really press that on people. They have to want to do it themselves. Surprisingly he still gets sex from randoms so he really hasn't had any real motivation to change up. I do know he's ultimately depressed. I know switching to at least drinking more water would have a tremendous effect on him. Sad thing is, when it catches up with him, I just hope it's not too late to do anything about it.

My nephew is big too. Drives a truck for a living. Can't tell him nothing either.

real talk breh a lot of these people need to walk 5 miles a day or trying to run 2 miles (no matter how slow) just as a base before they even consider a gym.

If they can’t get outside to do a few bullshyt laps on the track then they aren’t committing to that gym life. They gotta burn as much as they can outside; like literally spend a calendar year (5 days a week) walking/running along with stop being slobs and eating everything.

Being in a gym will wreck them and it’s also too damn easy to just sit at the gym for 20 mins doing nothing.
