like many things it's nature & nurture

some people just have a eye for silhouettes shape pattern & color their brain is just wired better in that regard

then it helps to be raised by folks who are educated in this subject in my case my grandpops was a tailor & at some point all the 9 children he had with my grandmother worked in luxury boutiques in nyc so i came up dipped

keep it simple the cleaner the better if you can get your pieces tailored do that

honestly just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in make your own rules
