Honestly, it’s not affecting me directly 24/7 365. Neither is it really stopping me from moving forward. It just slows you down. It slows you down a lot. Depression is really an issue when you’ve slowed down to a standstill.
Most black people pretty much accept that we must work 10X harder than our non-black counterparts. Once this realization is reached, it just becomes a matter of problem solving. You need to do actionX to get to destination Y. So now you spend your time finding action X to get you there. No emotion to it.
it’s funny how we work so hard, that others can’t even fathom it. I cold approached an Latina milf the other day and she was telling me all these random problems she was having, especially with white people. I couldn’t help but laugh because these were all level1 problems for black people. I broke down the back door solutions for most who her issues and by the end of it she was like, “but how do you learn to move like that? ”
