I look at how much my ancestors have gone through and see how strong resilient we are to still be here. White supremacy is here and won’t be gone in my life time But I and others have still been able to thrive, despite the odds and obstacles stacked against us.

That gives me strength and knowing that my children will be strong because generations before me have survived and will continue to thrive no matter what.
