Well I’ll tell u like the cats use to tell me. All that shyt comes back around. Kids pick up on more than u think. I use to think my kids wouldn’t respect me and fall for my bm’s Bullshyt like everybody else. Naaah far from that. They grew up to resent her for keeping them away. They remember all the times they wanted to see me but couldn’t. Even the way she use to backbite.
Just be patient and be a good dad. They WILL remember it.

if we get mad at each other, the phone calls she normally allows our child to make to me dont happen in the week, Facetime is dead, she tries to get the child mentally on her side in-directly, etc

makes me feel like i gotta walk on eggshells with the mom to have constant contact with our child

we are just an "on and off" family.

i can see my child more if i "behave"

i see my child less it seems when me and her mom "fight"

thats probably not healthy and no we dont live together

Sure, she'll be piss and that may stop the visits altogether until you WIN or whatever the verdict come to but that's BS.

You gotta love women's advice. It always sounds good to the ear even if it's not based in reality.

As if nikkas have unlimited funds to keep a roof over his own head, bills paid, contributing to another household, and to keep "paying lawyers until he wins"

Then when he's broke and financially ruined, the courts will say he doesn't have the proper structure to raise the child and he gotta start all over again. $$$$$$$

i dont ever get violent with my kid but me and her mom have some wild text or phone calls (usually when the kid isnt around) and she holds a grudge and uses it thru our kid in subtle ways

its like subtle like she wont answer the phone until the end of the day on the weekends or she wont answer texts and then when i get mad, she'll be like "thats why i dont like talking to u, im not always around my phone to answer"

Don’t engage in the fights. Women feed off u when u lose it. When she hang up don’t call back. She say u can’t see the kids ok I’ll wait.
My bm was hell tho. She knew how to push my buttons.
