Honestly, dude or his team or whatever make easily digestible music. It's not too deep for the average listener, he doesn't reach for "touchy" subject matter such as politics or current events. He's like a country rap hip hop artist in a sense. Smooth feel good music.
I like stuff from him, but in no way would I put him in a top contender category.
