How does Drake get credit for "making hit records" when he doesn't write or produce?

I'm more upset over people that no better but still defend it all in the name of money. Everything can't be about money. It's ok to use rap for financial gain and I get some raps are part fact and part fiction but this is beyond story telling. Not all of it. When it first came out she led people to believe and it said in the back of the cd that she wrote and produced the entire album by herself. That wasn't the case. And she got sued and ended up paying. This is common knowledge and it's not like this happened 30 years ago.
