The suburbs
Check out the wealth gap over the last 40 years. With that along with what automation is about to do the shyt needs to be put in check imo.
The wealth gap isn't why people live in poverty. If the richest person in the world only had a million dollars the same poverty you see right now will still exist

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Half the things wealthy people do not sound fun to me.

For example I would never buy my own yacht I’d probably just go to invited parties on them tho.

I would never want to live in their neighborhoods. Id rather buy me a brownstone or condo in Harlem.

So if I ever had Jeff Bezos money I’d be starting coding/financial/real estate programs in many black communities in America.

I’d be building homes in Haiti and helping the farmers.

No way could I keep a billion dollars to myself. I’m helping somebody regardless.

What do you think would happen to jobs and the economy if you put a “wealth ceiling”? The same 1% are going to get there because they’re go getters, but instead of continuing to build and make jobs they’re gonna say “fukk it what’s in it for me now?” and then you’re going to have more unemployment more poverty more bytching and more people asking for free money, which is all wealth redistribution is which is bullshyt, you didn’t earn it why should you have it? If you aren’t willing to get up hustle, work 1,2,3 jobs then you don’t deserve what those people have. These guys didn’t just wake up one day and look in their accounts and see $$$$, they worked their asses off for it. Do the same and you’ll get the same or at least be in a much better position than whining on the internet about it not being “fair”

Everyone is for a wealth cap until it affects them. You’re saying that Bezos could literally end world hunger. Okay, fair enough. If everyone in America gave up another 50% of their income that could also end world hunger. Are you willing to do that with money that you worked for? I’m sure some poor people would look at all the shyt you have and determine that you don’t need it either. In my opinion, you get out what you put in, and if you happen to have an idea like Amazon that changes the world and then actually manage to execute it then you get exactly what’s coming to you because you’ve earned it.
To add on, Bezos’s income is a fraction of the money, the US Government has to spare and we don’t have the same energy while paying taxes.
