How does Gears of War go from a 9.6 to a 7 in 9 years?

It makes plenty of sense. Majority of people are going to spent more time playing the multiplayer. And it's not just the graphics that are better, it's running at double the fps.

"Gaming journalism" is all around atrocious. Not only do we constantly have terribly skilled players reviewing games, but we'll get reviewers giving their opinion on a style/genre/series they never liked in the first place and pass it off as objective.

The only remaster on MCC is Halo 2. All the rest are 360 ports.

halo 1 was a port of the pc version (classic look in campaign and multi) and the 360 version (campaign).
halo 2 got remastered but there is also the classic og xbox halo 2 version there as well for multi/campaign
halo 3 was a 360 port for multi/campaign
halo 4 is a 360 port

I'm buying it exactly for the multiplayer,I might play the campaign if one of my friends wants to online co-op it,mp was an after thought to you cuz knowing your cheap ass you aint have any live cuz u didn't wanna pay for it

Only thing that should be getting reviewed is how good of a job they did on the upgrade. If the port is functional and if the online component is stable.

GoW was a 8 at best from its initial launch. The game rates highly among casual low skilled gamers. Graphics were great at the time and multiplayer was addicting. Story was bleh tho with forgettable character pumped up on steroids.
