Nobody thinking about New York like that. Only time the city is really brought up is when someone from up there comes down here talking that I’m from NY shyt, and most the time nikkas recognize it for what it is and don’t even pay it no mind.

It’s a nice lil spot to visit for a few days

the only place i ever got hate for being an NY'r was new england.
the amount of hate they have for NY is

i was at a red light and the light turns green for the truck that should be passing in front of me.
instead the driver gets out walks into the intersection, gives to two middle fingers and says "fukk new york".
i had NY plates and i was rocking my Yankee hat.

another time i was in harvard yard and some drunk ran across the street, got in my face and repeatedly asked me if i know where i am.
i told him where we were and then he told me i can't wear a Yankee hat here.
i told him that i was a diplomat from NY sent here on a mission of peace.
