How does New York feel about being the most hated state in America??

Also for the record my question was based on personal experience and observation from my entire life,

after somebody I went to school with who's a cop now told me a story about how she was talking sh1t to this lady she pulled because she was from New York, she admitted it was cuz she was from NY and everything,

I had to personally ask after that because it's been my entire life I've seen/heard New Yorkers catch that work just because they from New York





Oh and as a far as the internet, some of you really going to pretend that it's just a few people on the internet that say negative things about New Yorkers



or that New York hate is an internet phenomenon

When I tell people I was born in NYC, they usually have questions or tell me about how they want to visit or how their visit was. When I tell them I now live in Jersey, they raise their eyebrows and usually start hating on the Jersey Shore stereotypes. Just when that image felt like it was fading, MTV brought those fools back too.
