Damn I'm not hearing great news at qb then. I'm often curious why a top qb wouldn't go to a school with bum QB's. If I was Haitian Jack I would have chose UF over FSU. He just locked lucked out at that Johnson got kicked off the team. I think he was better and ready than everybody in that position.

I'm going to have to disagree with Treon not being able to play different positions. Watching him play he is a pure athlete. I can see him at flanker or a scat back. Even at DB. He is just not a QB.

Yea I cosign about Treon. I don't see him as a QB but I know he's not sniffing the field at UF as a DB or WR. He's just....small. Sounds generic to say but you know how some players play bigger than their listed size? Not him. He just looked physically out of place at QB against the top tier teams.

I agree with you about why QB's don't go to schools that are itching for a freshmen to step in and play. That's why i'm hoping that Franks can come along in the spring and summer and challenge for the job in the fall. Yea he's raw as grits, but our first 4 games are against UMass, Kentucky, North Texas, at Tennessee. We'll be 3-1 going into the LSU game with Del Rio or Appleby anyways so it might as well be Franks and let him go through the grind and figure it out. 5-2 at worst going into the bye week before UGA is my goal

When you have to compete against it, and don't have the talent, it gets ugly That's what a lot of teams are facing when they play Alabama right now. LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss recently have been the only ones to compete, beat sometimes, against them in the SEC since 2010.

That's what they want you to believe. Mighty convenient for him to all of a sudden to have grades issues 3 hours before his announcement, after he decommitted. Jimbo was pissed off and called ESPN classless for reporting a rumor about a kids grades.

Shaver Manuel did not decommit from Florida because of grades...Florida and FSU have almost the exact same requirements for athletes.

Especially some shyt that ain't true. A lot of Gator grads work for eSECpn, so this is what you end up with. Once again look at how they ran the Jameis/FSU into the ground or anything negative thats non-SEC. All while trying to call non-SEC fans crazy for thinking they show bias to the SEC.
