Random but I remember my 3rd grade teacher would always come into class morning after a Pistons game and be like "I love Grant Hill omg omg omg" almost every other damn morning

When he was at the peak of his powers :leon:

Grant was a beast. The only Duke player I've ever liked. What's crazy is how long he managed to stay in the league and be somewhat useful well past the injuries. Wasn't he still playing only a few years ago?

old enough to know and no im not, far from it

what year(s) do u think he was the best player in the league?
Let me clarify.
It was for about a season. . Maybe that same year he dunked Zo.
He was a better overall player at the time..and in Jordans defense. . Jordan was in his thirties an grant was maybe 27

he was great all around but if he was the best in the league his teams wouldnt have flopped every year and early on hakeem/shaq at the least were better outside of jordan and then later there was kobe/shaq as obviously better players. grant never eclipsed jordan while in a bulls uni anyway.

he made the playoffs (i think) 3 times on detroit and lost in the first round every time. lost as the higher seed to the mookie hawks and got swept by the zo/timmy heat

edit: 4 times and lost 1st round every year http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/DET/

edit2: in his career, he made the playoffs 7 times (the one with the clips in 12-13 doesnt really count)..only once did his team make it out of the first round (09-10 suns). he was a prolific loser in the playoffs. his injuries saved him from tmac'esque playoff criticism
