Or we could've seen them both play and compared their games and think hill was better.

Lebron's 2nd year in the NBA was more impressive than Grant's best year ever.

Lebron is more effective than Grant Hill, on both sides of the court, and pretty much shyts on him on every statistical category.

Show me the season that you think is more impressive than Bron's.

Bruh this isn't about stats. They both got great stats, but lebron scored more points because he took more shots. There is nothin on the court lebron does than grant hill couldn't do.

He had just reached the point where he was dominating with his scoring and not just settling for getting 20 a night. Plus he had finally developed a respectable three point shot that opened up his drives to the lane. He was about to peak but he hadn't quite done so when he left Detroit. His scoring probably would have went down a bit in Orlando but I believe he could have averaged close to double figures in assists and rebounds. Though he wouldn't have averaged a triple double either like people were thinking. At least we can say we got 6 great years out of Grant though but I would have loved to see him for the next 6 years after that with 100 percent health.

Lebron shot the ball more than Grant but he also shot a higher percentage.

Meaning Lebron missed less shots despite taking more.

Lebron's a much better three point shooter with way more range. Lebron is a much better finisher at the rim, has better body control, is stronger, is better at finishing transition, etc.

You talking about Lebron shot more like he didn't shoot a whopping 56% when he started toning down his shots.

In Hill's best season, he attempted 19.4 FG and shot about 49%

In Bron's 4 year tenure in Miami, he attempted 18.2 FG and shot 54%.

Lebron is a MUCH better scorer than Grant hill and it's not even comparable.

Post some proof of your crap.

:francis:

Respectable 3 point shot? The season he shot .347 from 3 while attempting 1.3 a game? He made .5 threes a damn game.

Grant Hill was not a good shooter in his prime. At all.

You start your prime around 26/ 27, why are people acting like hill didn't get injured during his prime. We obviously got cheated out of greatness

Prime is considered, to many, the apex of both your mental and physical capabilities converging.

It's a very small window and many basketball enthusiast consider that window to be between 27-30 (for some the prime last longer...but generally begins at begins at 26, 27).

You really can't compare FG%s when you look at the talent lebron had in miami vs what grant had in detroit.

Lebron could be selective about his shots because he had 2 top 15 players on his team (in 2011) to make it easier for him.

Who was grant hill's best offensive teammate? Broken down joe dumars? Lindsey Hunter? Terry Mills? Otis Thorpe. Those guy's aren't comparable to wade/bosh offensively.

Look at lebron this year. He's shooting 49% which compared to his stint in miami is a huge drop off. Quality of teammates matter.

bruh, he had a year where he almost averaged a triple double...matter of fact he was consistenly a 20+, 8 assists, 8 rebound guy - plus the defense. And he only started to learn how to hit the 3, the guy was unstoppable when he wanted to be. He was definitely Lebron with heart but less strength
He never avg 8assits once in his career. He wasn't close to Bron, he was a tier below.

The amount nostalgia-fueled revisionism here is funny.
Same with Penny btw:pachaha:
Not really when it comes to G Hill, you have to understand that he was just entering his "LeBron-like" prime. Last season in Detroit he was at 26, 7, 5 shooting 49% from the field, 36% from 3 pointers, and 80% at the line. He was ALMOST there.
