People always use that dumbass argument when they're trying to make a point."If you actually watch him play" "He does sooooo much more" Why? Because you said so? I watch him play quite a bit seeing as he's in the same division. Like I said the guy is good, but he's still very erratic with some throws and has a bad habit of throwing straight to DB's. In other words inconsistent with a high ceiling. I didn't need advanced statistics to tell me this, I watch him play. And as much as people want it to be, a QB's success is not directly correlated to how good their defense is, especially in the modern NFL. Kaep has the most offensive talent out of the QB's listed, but I'd argue that Luck has more to work with than Cam and Russ.

"He has to do sooooo much more, so we can forgive him when he throws a pick 6, when the ball should have never been thrown" Fukk outta here:bryan:
I actually think Luck is a great guy, but the unnecessary hype and apologist when you disprove the hype is unbearable. :ld:
Don't even get me started on that CAC Jaworski
The bs u named, he beat 2 of them and he's asked to do more with less. Only 1 of those teams won 2 gms before the qb got there. Luck's team. Andrew Luck is ahead of all those qbs. Period

Once again you use the ol "asked to do more with less" routine. Why? Because Mark Schlereth and Ron Jaworski made it so? Because he turns the ball over so much and that means he's asked to more because he has to play catch up? Is that why? :ld: That same 2 win Colts team that was 1 year removed from the Super Bowl? The whole world saw they were tanking once Manning went down. Curtis Painter should have been playing in the arena league.

I give him all the credit in the world for beating the 49ers and Seahawks. He should have duplicated the performance against a much weaker defense like the Patriots in the post season :sas2:

I rarely watch espn. I watch gms. Every gm. Sometimes multiple times. I've alread ecplained the defense played against Luck. Every qb u named also has a legit run gm. In Sea and SF case, elite run gms. Teams are rarely playing dime coverage vs those teams. LUCK consistently throws thru smaller windows. When Bradshaw and Ballard were healthy, his ints were down.

You're right, I see he made a vast improvement in his turnover rate. And like I said he's a good player, just overhyped to the point that people exaggerate how bad of a team Indy is.
They won 2 gms before he got there. He had no running gm. The defense should be imoroved this yr, but they aren't top 10 like the qbs u named. So who's exaggerating Indy being subpar?

TY Hilton is probably the only player that anyone would trade for, and Dwayne Allen before injury was nice too. This yr, he has more talent around him if they can stay healthy. Vic Ballard is out for the yr again tho.

Wilson is underrated....I think he'll be an all timer and he'll get even more pub once Seattle's defense regresses.

But Luck is legit too- hit his ceiling? How do you figure that? The Colts did beat the Seahawks and Niners last year....Luck probably had the most success of any QB throwing against Seattle too.

All timer :dead: the second half of the season he was the definition of game manager some of those games he did absolutely nothing

I think Wilson is a nice little qb who can extend plays and make a big play every once in awhile but he's asked to do so much less then the other young qb's

He's had games where he's had to throw the ball and played extremely well. The Falcons playoff game he was unbelievable.

Its amazing how many people dont get this. I got him top 10, but the more I think about it, Cam is better than him.

The year before that they went to the Super Bowl. If there is a great chance Peyton Manning is going to be out for the season and you have months to prepare for this possibility, you have to do better than Curtis Painter as your secondary option. No one can tell me that team wasn't trying to tank :dead:

Numbers don't tell the story on Ryan. Notice how low his yards per attempt is... because he's running up tons of yardage and completion numbers throwing 100x every game to one of the best groups of pass catchers in the league. 1 4th q comeback and game winning drive? Ooooh. Never winning in the playoffs? Ooooh. Dude is a glorified dump off QB. He's Flacco except Flacco gets better in the playoffs while this dude disappears
