the media just wants to dikkride a prototype pro style qb because all of his peers who he came in with or after him are mobile/black :mjpls:

Andrew Luck isn't a prototypical style Qb. Indy chains him to the pocket but this guy came out the combine with damn near Cam Newton numbers. Dudes been top 10 in QB rushing yards each of his first two seasons and if you actually watch colts games it's clear dude can make plays with his legs.

Sit the fukk down needlessly injecting race into shyt. This forced narrative has to stop. You basically attacking him for being white while complaining that other Qbs get treated unfairly due to skin color. Does the media hype dude? Yes, he was considered one of the top QB prospects in a while, worth tanking for and had the Colts traded the pick may have got the biggest return in a draft trade ever. No shyt the media is going to hype him. Not all of it is warranted but dude is on track to at least be a long time solid starter.

How exactly is Luck considered to be better than Russ Wilson with worst stats and a worst w and l record?

LOL at judging QBs based off W-L record. Like the sole difference between Luck's career record and Wilson's record is their individual play. :camby:

Once again you use the ol "asked to do more with less" routine. Why? Because Mark Schlereth and Ron Jaworski made it so? Because he turns the ball over so much and that means he's asked to more because he has to play catch up? Is that why? :ld: That same 2 win Colts team that was 1 year removed from the Super Bowl? The whole world saw they were tanking once Manning went down. Curtis Painter should have been playing in the arena league.

I give him all the credit in the world for beating the 49ers and Seahawks. He should have duplicated the performance against a much weaker defense like the Patriots in the post season :sas2:

The reason he's labeled with being asked to do more is because of the amount of time he is asked to make a play. If you look at passing and rushing attempts Luck going to end up ahead of the other young QBs. He's asked to carry a heavier load. It's a combination of Indy being very pass reliant due to shyt RBs and style (compared to other young QBs that have a more run heavy offense), Indy's offensive line being complete dogshyt (meaning he is the most hit QB in addition to being asked to make more plays) and that he's managed to have 11 game winning drives and 8 4th quarter comebacks in his first two seasons.

Whether or not you agree with it is another thing but thats where it comes from. Personally I hate that the Colts are so reliant on Luck since they talk so much about building a D and run game, but oh well whatever.

That 2 win Colts team was not 1 year removed from the superbowl.
That 2 win Colts team was not tanking. Indy never carried a true backup QB as Peyton never got injured. They always kept some trash big 10 qb as backup, see Jim Sorgi. Then they tried to sign Kerry Collins but that old man couldnt get ready in time and was trash when he did play.

If they were trying to tank with Paint why did they bench him for Orvlosky. Wouldn't it make sense to just play an arena league team every week.

LOL at tanking when the GM, several front office personnel and damn near entire coaching staff got replaced. Half the roster got turned over, most of the players who really lead the Colts making playoffs last 2 years were not there prior to the 12-13 season.

LOL at tanking when they beat a playoff bound Texans team week 16 in a game they couldnt "afford" to win.

You don't know shyt about the Colts, just trotting out the same old lazy generic talking points and making up shyt as you go.

Hes not top 5 based on what hes actually shown so far. But hes def a top 5 talent. In a few years I wouldnt be suprised if he was the top QB in the game. Anyone who doesnt see the type of talent he has either has not watched any Colts games or is straight up hating. The type of plays and throws he's able to pull off can only be replicated by the likes of someone like Rodgers. He's had at least a handful of plays like that each game Ive watched him in where u just go "damn I see what the hype was about :ohhh:". Not to mention he's durable as hell....wouldnt be suprised if hes the kind of dude to go 10 years without missing a game. No, it hasnt translated into a top 5 ranking like the media's pushing YET but if u dont see him having a great overall career then ur just blinded by hate :yeshrug:.

The obsession with creating a new Manning/Brady/Brees within the NFL media is asinine. Luck is really good obviously but he is NOT elite. He has won a playoff game so I can't hate on him, but I just dislike how the NFL sells shyt.
