When has Nas ever had a run like Ice Cube's first 7-8 years in the game :what:

We're talking
N.W.A. and the Posse
Writing credits on Eazy Duz It
Straight Outta Compton
AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
Kill at Will EP
Death Certificate
Executive producing his cousin Del's debut album
Guerillas In Da Mist w/ Da Lench Mob
The Predator
Executive producing Kam's first album
Lethal Injection

And I'm probably forgetting a ton of stuff he released during his run from 87-94. Why would you even bring Nas up in the discussion?

Cube's curl > Schnoz' fade

:ohhh:

I dunno about that, I will give Cube props for being one of the few people to actually pull off the Jheri Curl really well (Eazy and Michael Jackson come to mind). That in and of itself, is a huge feat :russ::ohlawd:

I have no idea if a link exists nowadays but there was an article about it in The Rolling Stone around '90 or '91. Apparently the FBI busted a KKK group for something totally unrelated, and among the things they found in their hide out was a list of "problematic" black people who they targeted for assassination. Chuck D was on the list too.

So hard that he was associating himself with Khalid Muhhamad on wax, in videos, etc.....Who at the time was probably the most feared and hated blackman in america. Dude was goin so hard in the paint that Farrakahn had to pull him to the side over remarks he made about jews and the pope like :damn::whoa:....And yeah somebody did eventually try and off Muhammad.

How many of these wack azz nikkaz today regardless of the social climate, would or could do some sh1t like that today and STILL have a following and be successful.

He probably is the 2nd best westcoast rapper after Pac but to be honest much of his early work hasnt aged that well with me. And on a side note, im sick of all these Coors light Ice c00n commercials :scusthov:

that 91-92 cube the goat imo. the whole cube "sold out" because he doing movies and making millions was some corny hating ass shyt. laugh now cry later, raw footage even the wcc terrosit threats was solid albums.

amerikka most and death certificate is arguably one of the best back to back album any rapper has put out. i was listening to "bird in a hand" yesterday and got damn, crazy how you don't get any social commentary albums from a hood perspective. he was on that militant pro-black man shyt. i know rap is mostly opinion and everybody got one, but it's totally laughable when people mention jay, nas, big, pac even em, cube aint even mentioned in that group especially with the disco he has. :smh:
