You couldnt see music videos on demand like that. If you liked a music video you had to just wait until it came on, and who knows when that would be.

I remember sitting through entire countdowns waiting for my favorite videos like :noah:

"Miserable" has become the new "cool". :beli:

Everyone wants to be a victim. :belipetraeus:

This is what I came to write.

Everybody's such a bytch now.

Nobody can handle criticism or difference of opinion.

Even on here, you got buster ass nikkaz talking about "You guys are racist. You guys are homophobic", when back in the day, nikkaz didn't give a fukk about feelings.

bytches and hoes were bytches and hoes.

Nobody talked about slut shaming and other defense mechanisms that hoes use to defend their ratchetness.

White folks used to want to be Black because being Black was cooler, now all the nikkaz in Hip-Hop and the NBA dress like White hipster nerds with gay ass glasses and flooding and shyt.

You used to be able to say "that's gay" without some punk ass bytch telling you that that's the same thing as the KKK burning Black people's houses down and lynching Black folks and slavery.

You didn't have nikkaz crying about bullying all day. nikkaz did something about it.

On the bad side, Amerikkka was a LOT more violent 20 years ago, especially if you lived in the hood. That gangbanging crack shyt was off the fukking hook in the early '90s.

All you little "It Gets Better" generation ass nikkaz have no idea was fear and bullying is until you've had to walk down the same side of the street as 20 angry Vice Lords and you aint from their neighborhood.

Girls used to dress like tomboys. You had Aaliyah, TLC, Ynvee, Brownstone, Jade, etc. . . looking like sweet girls you could chill with.

Now every young girl looks like a stripper thanks to Britney Spears, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, and Beyonce.

You didn't have bullshyt like "fantasy sports" for nerds with ADD and Asperger's disease, who couldn't play sports or just watch a game and drink a beer and smoke some bud. Now, they gotta obsess about shyt.

The internet has allowed no p*ssy getting ass nerds to become bullies and millionaires.

Everybody's more self centered, fame obsessed, and willing to make a damned fool out of their self to get on TV or make some money.

Hip-Hop is gay as fukk now.

R&B singers wanna be tough now.

Rock & Roll used to be WAYYYYY more popular than Hip-Hop. Guns and Roses were like the biggest shyt other than Michael Jackson and Madonna and shyt like that, now rappers are really famous and damn near billionaires and shyt.

Eazy E was the richest rapper at the time of his death in 1995.

He was worth $34 million

P.Diddy is worth 450 million today

Life is all around better.

Crime has gone down

Technology is just :krs:

New dope music is coming out frequently

Movies are better

Comedy is funnier

Less religion

More people doubt the government

Cartoons are even funnier

shyt I can think of so many ways that the world is a better place now than I can ever remember.

My only complaint is the pussification of males. Masculinity is at an all time low which is just :snoop:

i already spoken on this but:

looking back as a child, i could remember people actually giving a fukk about the lifes/livelihood of others. imo it seems like people have forgotten how to care, how to love another person outside of themselves....some of us have become so detached from reality that when a person says "i care" it comes of as completely vague or seen as weird. Its more evident when we ask a person "how are you today?" and some people will give you the :wtf: face.

ethic cleansing is need

:beli: i would neg you for this if i didnt think you were cool.

very true. more and more shows incorporating sexual themes, even cartoons nowadays

we you have a cartoon like Family Guy or The Simspons throwing sexual innuendos, its a question on how not only the minds that viewing the ish are intrepretating it, but also the person who is credited for putting the message out there.

-The TV channels would just stop after midnight or so. Then you would have that rainbow screen.
-Scrambled up porn on whatever channel it was. If you were lucky, you might catch a clear glimpse of a tit :lolbron:
- MTV actually played lots of music videos.
-Used to order videos on "the box".
- kids used to play "tag"/ "freeze tag".
- I used to have a "Co-Card" from the rec so that I could get on the bus for cheap.
-If you wore brands like "Guess" or "PePe" you were the shyt.
-Beepers were like iphones today.
-Most cars were still made of metal.
-You actually had to buy your music from the store, or record it on cassette.

I watched my fair share of scrambled porn in my younger days. The proverbial "Channel 99".

Kids don't realize how much work a young breh had to to put in to catch a glimpse of porn back in the day.

Now, it's at their fingertips with the click of a mouse. :demonic:
